Full Throttle Charity Workout Supporting WOKC

The charity workout at Full Throttle on Saturday was a killer workout for an awesome cause. I thought the workout was going to kill me but then I thought about all of the kids with cancer and I kept pushing myself even harder. The workout included TRX rows, ball slams, squat presses, box jumps, v-holds, push-ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, ropes, and lunges. Then we had a finisher, which was every ones favorite workout move, BURPEES for 2 minutes straight! But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

I am glad I had my workout buddy Janet pushing me through it all. I should workout with Janet everyday because she is a machine!! You're the BEST Janet and a motivation to push ever harder!!

I am happy to say that we raised $135 dollars for Wip Out Kids Cancer in less then a hours time. This bring the total raised to close to $1,800. We are getting so close to our goal of $2,000.

Did you know:
46 children a day are diagnosed with cancer.
1 in 330 children will develop cancer by age 20.
Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children.
This is why we need to wip out kids cancer!
